Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By using the Shara website, contacting us for a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. About Shara

The service is operated by Shara Circuits, with registered office at 4th Floor, Connection Point, Airport Exit Road, Murugeshpalya, Konena Agrahara, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560017, India.

3. Services

Shara offers PCB design review, PCB fabrication, solder-paste stencils, BOM (bill of materials) sourcing, and PCB assembly. Specific deliverables, lead-times, and acceptance criteria are agreed per order in writing (typically via the platform's order workflow or a separate quotation document).

4. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at info@sharacircuits.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Quotes, orders, and pricing

Any in-platform estimate is indicative. The final binding price is the quotation we issue in writing for your specific order, including specifications, quantity, finish, materials, and lead-time. Quotes are valid for 14 days from issue unless stated otherwise. Substantial changes to scope after acceptance may require re-quoting.

6. Payment

Payment terms are stated on each quotation. Default terms are 100% advance for first-time orders and 50/50 or net-15 for repeat clients, payable via UPI, NEFT/RTGS, or card through our Razorpay integration. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless explicitly stated and exclude GST, which is added at the prevailing rate on the invoice.

7. Intellectual property

• Your designs stay yours. Gerbers, schematics, BOMs, and any IP you upload to the platform remain your property. We will not share them with third parties except as needed to fulfil your order (e.g. with our fabrication partner) and under appropriate confidentiality.
• Our platform stays ours. The Shara platform, its source code, brand, and content are our property and protected by applicable IP law.
• DFM and review outputs. Reports we generate for your project (DFM, sourcing recommendations, etc.) are licensed to you for use on that project and its successors; we may use anonymised, aggregated learning to improve the platform.
• Third-party data. Component pricing and lead-time data are sourced from distributors and provided as-is; we are not the original publisher of that data.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, including violations of export-control or sanctions law.
• Upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains malware.
• Attempt to bypass our rate limits, scrape data without permission, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Use the service to produce designs intended for use as weapons of mass destruction or in life-critical applications without explicit written agreement on the relevant qualification regime.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

We warrant that goods supplied will conform to the agreed specification at the time of dispatch and meet the workmanship class agreed for the order (typically IPC-A-610 Class 2 unless otherwise stated). The website and platform are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by the Indian Sale of Goods Act, 1930 and applicable consumer-protection law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shara's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount actually paid by you for that order in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, lost profits, or loss of data.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Shara against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the service, or any IP claim against designs you uploaded.

12. Termination

Either party may close a platform account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we believe you have breached these terms or applicable law, or if continuing service would expose us to legal risk. Orders already in production proceed under the originally-agreed terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date above will change; material changes will be announced on the website. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
